“I love you everyday” -God

It’s morning and I’m at a hotel room. I open my Bible to read the Word for the day and I find myself tuning in to that still, small voice that is God’s:

“You need someone to remind you that I love you everyday” -God

To me, this was it. What everyone, which later on included me as well, is praying for. God was about to bless me. Only to be mindful about what He truly means:

“To be reminded that God loves you” means that you already know that God loves you. You have encountered love and what true love actually means. To have felt the saving knowledge and grace of God. You just need to be reminded.

Tracking back to student days, I’ve always been goal-oriented. I’ve always had a knack at starting and seeing things through. This was to the point that I almost forgot that what I have was a relationship with God, not a deal nor a business transaction. I found myself asking God if He still loves me because I knew it in my heart that I do love Him– as I’ve given all things at the foot of the cross every single day. I work because of God, but almost to the point that I forgot how He actually looks at me. He looks at me with love.

To be reminded means you already know. So much so that the agent of reminder is not responsible to let you know you are loved. He just needs to reinforce God’s love in your life.

Talking about the truth that your partner should not be your commodity, God should be our primary source of love. Know that you are already loved by the Almighty.

And we go straight to God for that revelation. To commune with God everyday through reading His Word, praying, and worshipping Him, we actually get to know this love.

.. And for that, I’m eternally grateful.
