When the one who’s in frame is doing freestyle

How time flies by

When you avoid things you shouldn’t

As far as I can recall,

This was your problem all along

Someone ease my searching heart

For how can she demand resolution

–for something she took part in breaking?

Not too lost for mending

But I do love myself

When you cannot even hold on for yourself

What institution are you trying to keep?

What illusion has been running deep?

Not all that’s broken need mending

I’ve been asking God for things to be okay
