At some point in time, we reach a point where it is almost impossible to maintain that child-like faith we once had.
You see, when you’re young, it’s so easy to be idealistic. We activate our faith, believing God for the impossible– to do greater works than what Jesus has done here on earth. And the likes.
But, as we get older– as bills pile up, as problems compound, as life beats us up one way or another, we realize that having child-like faith is not always easy. It starts to become way more difficult than it was.
The adult brain in us rationalizes, overthinks, calculates. At times, we lose the wonder– the kid in us that hopes on the “what if?” The one that dares hope for what could be.
Have you ever asked yourself lately on that “what could be?” To dream once more. To hope once more. Not blindly– but anchored on faith upon Someone Who’s certain?
The Lord is asking us to dream once more. To hope once more. To maintain that child-like faith inspite of all the impossibilities. To dare believe for the impossible.
We must operate in heavenly currency– to realize that our faith in God’s Word has power. As long as He said it and you believe it, there is nothing impossible for you– in Christ Jesus.
Our faith must be centered on God, the surest One there is amidst all the uncertainty in this world.
Operate in heavenly currency. And keep the child-like faith.
