Last year, I’ve come to the point of my life when I’ve resolved it with myself that I’ve done all that I was placed on earth to do. I’ve loved God with everything in me. I’ve sacrificially given all for my country in ways God had designated me to. I’ve lived for people- with some lost, some kept, some hostile, some welcoming.
I’ve done all that I can. Exerted all the efforts I could possibly exert.
I write to you today here in the remnants of my today. My today that is still filled with more work. I write to you today, looking forward for more.
I’ve been daring to wonder what I really want out of this life. I’m at the age where people usually settle down or are set to excel in their respective careers. I can’t dare say that I’m not like them- for I also want these things.
But, maybe not as much as I want to see His promises fulfilled to and through me.
I write to you today, gloriously plagued with dreams. Dreams not of my own, but of the Almighty’s. I write to you today because this momentary pause is just momentary. And that I may have thought that I’ve achieved all that I already can for God and country. But, there is so much more.
I pray to be used by God in however way He wills. By His good good hand, may He does so as He pleases.
To live a life poured out for His name. And to witness His promises fulfilled with my very eyes. That is the ultimate fulfillment.
