Dysfunction rears its ugly head once more and I’m left silenced.

Silenced but not disempowered. 

Silenced and deeply grieving for a society that desperately needs change. 

Because it’s not fair, especially for women who embody Christ. Who are princesses in God’s eyes. My heart grieves in questioning why they have to experience this kind of injustice and even hatred.

Women need to be valued. Not in a worldly sense, but in a heavenly way- as Christ values women. Women need to be empowered in society because God says it’s their time. Women need to stand up in society and represent God in all aspects, as they are called to.

And men need to adjust accordingly, not to take women’s place in their current state of inequality. But, to stand secure and complement women in their calling. 

We, men and women, are intended to be co-equals. And it’s time to start acting that way.
